Why should I register an account?
There are features only available for registered Soccer Wiki users:
  • Correct and edit player, club, manager and other data.
  • Submit new players and other data.
  • Vote to approve data submitted by the community.


All newly created email and password accounts need to be confirmed via email.

How do I create an account and is it free?
It is completely free to create a Soccer Wiki account, simply click the 'Sign Up' link above and enter your details.
Can I delete my account?

When will my corrections be applied?
Corrections will not be applied instantly because they have to be checked first by the administrators or the data scouts. Due to the high number of corrections, it can take some time to prove and accept the correction. When the corrections have been accepted, it also can take up to 24 hours until the change can be displayed on the website because the corrections data are stored temporarily.

You can upload them. Please read our Terms of Use: Forum and Communications before uploading. Submitted images are moderated by other users of the community for inaccurate, obscene, offensive and defamatory content. If you abuse the use of this feature you will be banned from uploading images in future.

You do! All of the information on Soccer Wiki has been added and edited by multiple users, not just one.

Is the information accurate?
Soccer Wiki can not guarantee the accuracy of the information as it is completely maintained by the Soccer Wiki community.
What information can be added?
Any soccer information can be added to the Soccer Wiki. The Soccer Wiki community will decide whether they think it should be included in the wiki.

Why was my information not added/edited?
Before new information is added/edited to the Soccer Wiki it is voted on by multiple users to see whether the community think it should be added or changed.
I can’t edit information as it states a change is already being voted on?
If you cannot edit any information on a page then it will be due to new information already been submitted. This is because only one edit per page can be submitted at any one time.

What are Levels?
Levels are based upon reputation points. Registered accounts begin with 50 reputation points.
How do I receive reputation points?
You receive reputation points by voting, submitting new data or suggesting edits to existing data.

Why am I banned?
There are several sanctions on Soccer Wiki in case of misconducts. The following list should help to understand the sanction system of the Soccer Wiki.
Permanent prohibition of use.
Account bans
Permanent prohibition of use.
Reason: Very serious violations against Soccer Wiki rules.
Sanction: Permanent prohibition of use on the Soccer Wiki website.
Temporary bans
Reason: Massive spam or disturbance of the community peace.
Sanction: The user can be banned by a moderator on short notice until the case is resolved by the moderator. The temporary ban must not lead to an actual ban but normally, that will happen.

The final decision is in the hand of the administrators.
